SANPAD Two/day Workshop on South African Netherlands Academic Partnerships

On April 2nd and 3rd 2012, the South Africa Netherlands Research Programme on Alternatives in Development (SANPAD) presented a two-day workshop on academic partnerships between South Africa and the Netherlands. The event was held at the International Institute of Social Sciences in the Hague. With SANPAD ceasing to exist at the end of 2013, a twin conference has been launched – first in The Hague, later in Durban – to look back at the evolvement and results of the programme. Also, the meetings could be a platform to discuss how to sustain the partnerships once SANPAD will fade out.
